　　《犯罪心理》迎来复活季第16季《犯罪心理：演变/进化》，叙事将不同于此前的一集一个案件，而是BAU成员在这10集里调查一起案件。
　　在这一季中，联调局的犯罪侧写师精英队伍遭遇了迄今为止最大的威胁，一个利用疫情建立了其他连环杀手关系网的不明嫌犯。如今，随着世界逐渐重新开放，这个关系网络也开始运作了起来，团队必须逐起侦破谋杀案，将他们捉拿归案。

　　九名陌生人乘坐的从危地马拉飞往美国的小型飞机坠毁在偏远的墨西哥丛林。幸存者一一被谋杀，剩下的乘客必须在成为受害者之前找出凶手。
