　　While Ecklie fights for his life after his shooting, Russell's patience begins to wear thin as the team tries to get to his kidnapped granddaughter before she is killed.

　　Kelly Overton已确认加盟Syfy的13集新科幻剧《凡妮莎海辛 Van Helsing》，扮演女主角。Jonathan Scarfe，Christopher Heyerdahl，Paul Johansson，David Cubitt以及Tim Guinee也一   同加盟。
　　这部一小时长的剧情片实际上是对德古拉吸血鬼系列的一个改编，主要讲述Van Helsing，一个善战族裔的仅存后代Vanessa Helsing（Overton扮演）带领全人类抵抗吸血鬼的故事。
　　Scarfe将出演Axel，一个专业陆战队员。尽管孤身多年，他仍然至真不渝地坚守着自己的誓言和责任。Heyerdahl扮演Sam，一个在吸血鬼崛起之时幸存下来的人，他的观察能力和强壮的身体使他活了下来。Cubitt将扮演John，同样也是一位幸存者，只是他的行为要冲动很多，充满了偏见、怀疑以及恐惧。Johansson将扮演Dimitri，现在吸血鬼大军的领导者。Guinee将扮演Ted，一个具有悲伤过去的吸血鬼战士。

　　该剧根据同名经典黑色小说（noir novel）改编，由奥斯卡影后凯特·温丝莱特（Kate Winslet）主演。故事发生在美国经济大萧条时期，女主人公Mildred Pierce Beragon与失业的丈夫Bert（Brian F. O'Byrne）分了手，靠一份女服务员的工作维持生计。她一方面想维持自己的社会地位，另一方面又渴望独立和自由。在为生活奔忙的同时，她还要想尽一切办法赢得女儿Veda（Evan Rachel Wood）的爱与尊重。Guy Pearce扮演Mildred的情人，一个富有的花花公子。James LeGros扮演Bert以前的商业伙伴。Melissa Leo扮演Mildred的好友。Morgan Turner扮演童年时的Vada。
　　可以预见，明年金球奖和艾美奖与电视迷你剧有关的主要奖项都将归属这部剧集。

　　Van Helsing is an American-Canadian dark fantasy horror drama television series that premiered on September 23, 2016, on Syfy in the United States. Kelly Overton plays the titular character of the series, which was inspired by Zenescope Entertainment's graphic novel series Helsing. In December 2018, Syfy renewed the series for a 13-episode fourth season.
